Posted this mf in the tundra forum too but Ill put this here. I normally don't do reviews of supplements or anything but this one was solid

Tried Beyond Raw Lit PreWorkout for the first time today and heres my thoughts for anyone who gives a shit

Taste/Texture: I had the Iced Tea/Lemonade flavor and it was the best tasting preworkout Ive ever had. I could actually sip on it and enjoy it instead of chugging it. Container was all powder with no clumps at all. Mixed well

Physical Effects: I drink quite a bit of caffeine. Usually drink at least 1-2 cups of coffee or 1 energy drink a day plus a diet coke so Im no stranger to caffeine. This stuff has 250mg of caffeine and there was a point on the drive to the gym where I had the prickly feeling on my skin the most intense Ive ever felt it. It went away after a minute or 2, but it actually freaked me out for a second. Once I was in the gym I noticed a significant improvement. I lifted 4x12 for most of my sets. I felt like I could lift more than normal and I got a pretty good pump from it as well. It may have been a placebo effect, but well see after a week or so.

Mental Effects: I was definitely more mentally focused throughout my workout. I only zoned out and went on twitter once in between sets lol.

Overall I am very happy with this pre workout. Amazing taste and fantastic energy boost. Ill attach my workout I did. I would recommend this preworkout to anyone that has a higher caffeine tolerance than normal or looking for a new pre workout. However I wouldnt recommend to a beginner. Get a few less intense pre workouts under your belt bc ive been taking preworkout for around 5 years and this thing hit me like a truck.

$40 from the nutrition store (about $1.33 per scoop) and I love it so far!

    Workout (Shoulders, back, bi)

    Vbar pulldowns
    Straight arm rope pulldowns
    Preacher Curls
    Low grip rows
    Dumbell rows
    21's curls
    Ab superset
    7 Hill sprints

I feel like im forgetting something but that looks about right. Like I said most things were 4 sets and 12 reps.

Not bad on the supp sides. A little less stims than most. The prickly feeling had nothing to do with caffeine it was the beta alanine you were feeling 3.5 g is pretty good I personally like about 5 g. My pre has 175 caffeine a scoop I do 2 #team2scooplife. The l citrulline is what was giving you that pump but that's a shirts dosage. Recommended is 7-8g. Overall the best pre out there is the one that works so if that works for you then that's amazing.

Also, $1.33 per scoop is high! My DIY pre is like 35 cents per scoop.

You can't compare homemade pre to prepackaged. Of course it's going to be cheaper. That's as bad as comparing the price of going out to for meals vs cooking at home.

That's why they say not to eat out every day...it's too damn expensive. Taking the extra 30 seconds out of my day to save $1 each time is worth it to me. Not to mention the added benefits of knowing what you're consuming and being able to customize it.

For those of you that make your own pre workout, how are you guys measuring your mixes? I just bought some stuff to make my own off BB.com but didnt remember to get a miniscoop spoon.

Also where are you storing your mixes or do you separately each dose when you're gonna go workout?

Yea I think I'm gonna get one. I was going to get some small measuring scoops but my wife said to get a scale instead. I figure she could get more use from that then the minispoons.

Suspected overdose. They found 20 bottles of steroids in his house also, and he's currently in a medically induced coma.

While it's great for building big muscles, it also shrinks another area of the body. Sorry to hear that babe.

Scale doesn't weigh that little of amount so I do it by the teaspoon and tablespoon

I mix together 12 servings at a time and have a scoop for it that came in another pre a while back

It shrivels the balls...thereby making the pecker look yuuuuuuge. So, really, you're making gains everywhere.
