Nice! If I were closer I would be glad to help you cleanup and organize. It's one of my strong points. Everything has its place.

No one plans for a 40 foot sunami, but we need all forms of energy until we can start to replace anything for the base load electricity demands on the grid..

Oh I do and it does make for a lot of friends jokes about how my shops are kept lol I just want the remote clean up folks like I did have lol Airman , kids etc lol your welcome to drop in any time you want to escape that swamp down there . They sent this Yankee to Pensacola in JULY !! For two weeks I swear I felt like I had a wet towel wrapped around my head the minute I stepped into the sauna ...wait that was outside ! Lol I got notes left every day for the first week about not leaving my AC cranked when I was not in the billeting room. I tossed a 50 on the bed with a note please leave the AC alone I will melt ! They did for the next week and change I was there after that lol

I would say all and all our economy is doing pretty good. We've had some plants to close, run there course, or out dated. We have a lot of new businesses moving in and should more than balance out. They just announced that Samsung is coming here and will create 900+ jobs. We are still expanding and it has been difficult competing for the workers.

That's what I was going to say. I was the remote. And the antenna sometimes lol.

Yes, the economy is doing decent here, but for that plant to close down, going to say mis-management is the reason. How can you be so far behind and so far over budget if you are doing things right?? I can see a little, but, they are way past that. my .02

Oh I agree. Billions over budget, Westinghouse bankrupts and then blames Flour. No win situation. Feel bad for those that lost work because of it.

Easy it is a government agency. Then again I feel Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store not a government agency...

They are responsible in part for the 30 year period where no new plants were built in the US. How can the chairman of the NRC talk doomsday and continue to add regulations in mid stride and stay chairman? Has to be only one way. Politics. Can't imagine what the NRC inspections are like now they were a PITA years ago pretty sure they aren't any better now.

The other reason they can't seem to get one built is the litigation costs. Between regulatory cost and law suits that keep coming up it makes building a plant look like a horror story out of China. You need really deep pockets and are going to over budget every time. Not sure how you could even calculate it into a project.

Oh don't even get me started and they still keep coming into the US on a Visa, a steady stream of them. Because supposedly there isn't enough talent in the US. I'm calling bullshit on that one. That hole should have been plugged a long time ago. Uh Oh did I say that out loud?

I got to play the antenna when Mom or Dad wanted to watch the 4th channel we could get if I got on the roof and rotate the antenna. When I left home they got one of those remote powered dial thing-a-migs. It was PBS so didn't have to do it too often. And had to get back up there to turn it back so we could get the other 3 channels after.

Not sure how many channels I have now, hundred or couple hundred. And most of the time I never turn it on because there is nothing worth watching on

According to the coffee association or some group like that 195-205 with the closer to 205 the better. I do not disagree with that but of course it is whatever you like best :)

Well where do I begin. OK afternoon everyone. Had quite the day. So I went fishing early this morning. And caught a lot of fish.IMG_0122.jpg
    IMG_0128.jpg

Some good size 3 and four pounders. Then I caught a little one.

    IMG_0118.jpg

Poor guy had a hook right next to His eye. So being the nice guy I am I carefully removed it from him. And then he jumped and I impaled myself with a hook in my thumb. I knew I had like 30 seconds to yank it out before the pain would be too much. So I Got it out on the second yank. I bled quite a bit. So I got my first aid kicked out and proceeded to commit Surgery on my thumb. Which included alcohol in a Band-Aid. And went and caught some more fish.

So I'm feeling a little sore but very happy of the day. So I decided to make a move. I went back to Cabela's this afternoon. And I bitch them out. So to make a long story short. I came home with this.

I took bucktails advice start looking at Tenpoint crossbow's. So this one is a wicked Ridge warrior now built by 10 point. They gave me the preferred price and took an extra $50 off it. It shoots like a dream. I need a different target. The bolts go right through.

    IMG_0130.jpg

So I'm a pretty happy guy right now because now I'm gonna go hunting with my boy. Won't be till next year but I have something to look forward to now.

I hear ya and we were creating a 10 page report for ever single little thing that we changed on the job to the tune of 10g's per report and the kicker is that this stuff is covered in the AWS and ASME standards...oh well, that's government bureaucracy at its best and the greenie weenies were suing us to shut it down...they r nice people...lmao..
