Over canopy modular bed rack intrest?

Wow gotta tell you this rack combo is pretty awesome . I looked at a lot of racks made by some pretty great companies, but the racks Ben and the crew from Dissent offroad produce are in a league of there own.
I have gotten to know Ben and now his crew and the attention to detail is phenomenal !
Together they came up with a lot of very cool ideas that make these racks stand out.
If you look at these racks they are totally different from anything I've seen. They took there time through a series of prototypes till they got it down.
All aluminum so light weight, yet strong enough to support me standing on the top kinda hoping up and down. ( it would have been jumping but the knees won't let that happen anymore) . By the way I'm 6'4" and 250lb so it will hold a lot more.
Ben also has a slew of attachment ideas to produce to compliment the racks.
So this is kinda long winded but there is so much to these racks...probably just get a hold of Ben for questions.
However if you want my thoughts on them feel free to contact me. The powdercoat is spot on!
Going to put the kayak racks on , I'll share more pics when done !

Last but certainly not least . Both the cab rack and the bed rack are prices extremely reasonably !

This is an amazing bit of kit, what's the pricing for the bed and cab rack?

 

@Dissent86 is the cab portion of the rack essentially a cantilever over the cab or does it bolt into the factory roof locations? Does it "connect" to the bed rack in anyway?

It's a beautiful design, well executed too. I was just wondering how the rack reacts when the body is twisting off-road/how well the cab portion of the rack holds a load at the end closest to the front.

The cab rack is bolted to OEM on rails.
The cab and the bed rack are completely seperate of each other seperated about an inch and a half .
Dissent offroad ( Ben has posted a multitude of pictures showing these racks in action a couple pages back.
I took my truck to Folsom lake early this AM to see if I could rock it around at all. Could not hear anything . Checked all bolts ...tight

Amazing work! The last photo you posted made it tough to tell if there was some sort of connection between the two. Impressive that they line up so well. This is quality stuff.

Maybe this would help. Ben putting cab rack on and Tacoma with just the bed rack.

Ya know it was lower then other racks and about the same as others. I would say you should contact dissent86 ..Ben as I'm not sure what he is going to put the price point at. From what he was talking to me about the price , I'm sure everyone will be happy with it also .
Let's put it this way I was shaking my head in disbelief that he could build these racks for that .
But I will say this , I've never seen this quality in any other racks , both JKU and Tacoma .

i've seen some numbers thrown around a it's hella cheap for aluminum, I DM'd him so waiting to hear back. I have another idea for the bed rack that I threw at him to see if it's feasible

Awesome looking set up you have there. With that setup. I looks like that you would be able to run a tonneau cover on there as well. Specifically an OEM or Extang Solid Fold 2.0 type tonneau that sits on top of the rails. If that is the case, that would be awesome for those that are looking to do both.
