Anyone know what mounts I need to mount a 4' ARB awning to my factory rack?

 

Unfortunately that master cylinder does not work with trucks with TCS...

 

Dually front and rear. haters say it's photo shopped

 

Set of Oem u bolts -free or I throw em out

Nitro charger rear shocks and front assembled 885s.

885s have about 500 miles on them, $250 obo

rear shocks have about 10k, $100 obo for the pair

Need gone by next weekend

 

Hey guys, think the carrier bearing is bad? The DS doesn't look centered at all and I can move it a bunch with my hand

Saw this when I went to grease my i joints, hoping that would solve the squeaking noise lol

 

Interesting, I haven't looked into it yet. I had the kit sitting around so long he didn't even offer master cylinders back then.

 

Made a spot to track the places I've been and see the places I need to go..

 

They note it on their site. However my master cylinder looks like the one in the pic they says the Sequoia one replaces.

 

How much is a bunch in fractions of an inch?

 

.25 I'd say or more

 

Up to 1/2" is ok.

 

I can't even put a carrier bearing... had to go 1 piece DS

 

It's all Toyota stuff. Probably a slightly larger bore and maybe a different residual pressure valve, just minor differences. I'll ask about the VSC and see if there's a way around it... '08+ Sequoia MC?
The truck is acting pretty awesome as is.

Maybe I'll go that route one day too! I'm sure it's not cheap

 

Cons:
- It will hang a tad lower (haven't figured how much more.... can't really be much)
- I believe it will be more un-sprung weight than stock though did not feel any difference.

Pros:
- It's actually less expensive than the stock 2 piece (I paid $475 brand new @ Axle Exchange)
- Less moving parts (no carrier bearing and only u-joints at the flanges)

I had no choice as the crossmember where the carrier bearing attacheso to got fubar far beyond where I care to fix it.

Idealy, I would get a shorter 1 piece if I ever do a crawl box.

 

Looks dead, or nearly. You'll need to replace it soon either way.

 

Mine actually gave me a little MORE ground clearance. With the slip joint in the rear beig much smaller in diameter than the factory tube.

Thats on a DCSB. Not sure how low it'd hang in the middle on a DCLB?

To make it work with the OEM rack cross-member, I had to jury rig some mounts using c-channel steel and the ARB mounts.


The ARB mount bolts to the three holes and the c-channel hugs the cross-member with stainless steel worm gear hose clamps.

 

Let me clarify. I'm sure in the middle it's slightly lower. In the rear, due to the smaller diameter, there's more clearance.
