I use Yuban Brand and like it. I buy it at Sams. The Sams is close by. We also have a Costco that's about 14 miles one way.

Picked up 10 pounds of eye of round at Costco yesterday to make some more jerky so worked on cleaning my pizza screens tonight. Season them again tomorrow hopefully it will last this time. But is worth it :)

Much of Pa. was mostly soft coal many of the pits and mines are all filled in, with the high sulfur content most will never be mined again. When I first moved here huge coal trains from the West would come through town. Now it is mainly oil from the fracking fields on the cars. But coal trains too.

It is the coal burning West of the Appalachians that causes the acid rain and the government restricted it. The trees are dead on top of most of the mountains or were when I was there. They were dumping crushed limestone in the streams to try and help neutralize the acid that is killing the fish.

I did some work for Volvo North American Heavy Equipment in Asheville, NC. Each machine is custom ordered and a lot of them went to Canada. Canada produces a lot of coal. And Wyoming. Most of it is strip mined with heavy equipment. Take a long time to fill in those pits now days can get a lot done in a hurry.

Hey Sue no more sore than usual. For all that was done nothing really trying other than having to reach ot and hold some wiring. I don't think folks understand just how careful I am. Now re installing some of this will have to wait until I'm better unless somebody helps me. Removal is easy and unbearing using jacks, hoists, and air tools with one hand. Reinstalling the bumper, lights and little things will ba all I can get done for a while. I'm not risking hurting this thing again this just isn't that important. Wiping off some wax today hurt more than any of the other stuff I do and I'm supposed to be able to do little things like that now

Lazy evening. The youngest son called so I put him on speaker..turned into a 2 hour bs session with me and the wife on this end and him and his gf on the other. Watching what's left of football for the night and getting ready for the work week. Then another week of vacation after that. Gotta get rested up for the winter season that starts in 32 more days...hard to believe it has come around so quickly.

Evening everyone been a busy Sunday for me , just got done doing a field day in my place and ready for inspection !!

Just stepped outside a few minutes ago and the sky is thick of smoke from a brush fire . started checking the interwebs for more info and found That a 1k acre fire is burning in Riverside on Box springs mtn . The strange thing is I'm almost 50 miles away to the North of this fire . With all this smoke I thought it was may be a couple miles away from me

    https://www.google.com/amp/ktla.com...rews-battle-500-acre-brush-fire-in-riverside/

Here's a pic of the Smoke clouds , they've laid down some in the last half hour .earlier it did look like a brush fire nearby
