Finally got all my suspension installed. Only picture I have currently but I'm going to have to adjust the front some more. The deavers gave my truck some seruous rake. Currently 2 inches or rake. Had a castle nut on the stock uca round and ended up having to cut the entire bolt off with a grinder. 20170811_221447.jpg

Yeah, I hope everyone with RTTs has something holding the bed sides in. The reason why our house roofs have cross members is to keep the walls from flaring outward, away from the weight of the roof. A message to everyone - If you're going to put weight on your bed rails make sure the back corners can't flare!

I think these brackets are so strong your bed is going to be whatever angle the brackets are, ratchet straps or no. If I tried to ratchet it now I don't think it'd move in. The very slight flare I have now is because the mounting surface has damage, isn't flat, and the bracket isn't flush.

Yesterday, went ahead and decided it was time to do a full detail of the exterior. Started at about 8am and finished around 5pm... I went everywhere to make her shine.

This was from the day before when I noticed it was time to wash her... wasn't as shiny as she should have been.

    Resized_20170812_193721.jpg

    1) Stripped her of any contaminants.

    2) Foamed her.

    3) Washed her thoroughly.

    4) Dried her in a cool, shaded area.

    5) Commenced the clay bar.
    Resized_20170813_115228.jpg
    6) Followed up with the sealer.
    Resized_20170813_133336.jpg
    7) Continued with the wax on the paint.

    8) Washed the tonneau cover and the bed.

    9) Waxed the wheels (tire shine is later haha)

    10) Final Product!

Your truck looks amazing Aaron. Makes me wish I had purchased MGM instead of silver, and also added a full front bumper instead of just fixing my front end with stock parts.
Hey, if you have time the stock tailpipe can be polished and painted. Just takes a little prep work and some BBQ paint. I think it would look good on your truck since you take great care of it.

Nice job!! I have a 2015 and I keep reading others about these rust issues... I do not see it yet on my truck but seen your work got me thinking about doing mine.

How much por-15 did you use?

You're messed up Rob... you're messed up. LOL

Want me to get rid of that bull bar so bad??? Help me find someone that's selling the BAMF behind the grill kit then, complete with the drop down brackets and all. :D

I know I can buy it new, but would rather help a fellow TW member out if they're looking to get rid of theirs and make some $$ back.

I kept putting mine off. So glad I finally took care of it. Now when it gets dirty it should be a helluva lot easier to clean.

It's always the case with detailed decals. I was super hard to weed them.
