    Hopefully nothing will happen. Probably just Amateur Brinksmanship. Am concerned about how things could get out of hand. Worried about "other players" getting involved and stirring the pot. There was a time when I absolutely believed that despite our differences our country would stand united against any shared threat. Now I'm not sure. Too many people are quick to anger. In all honesty I'd bet that folks living in this country in the early 60's probably felt exactly the same as we do now. It just seems that it shouldn't be easy to get into a war, but it is. So remember, Safety 3rd.

    The amount of fire power we have on Guam, for being such a tiny island, is pretty impressive. Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) being one if them. Just sucks to think about that if it did come down to war, how would we keep our children safe.

    this kinda worries me, there is all this info being shared and talked about how we have all this stored on one small island, I can not help but think/fear in some way Guam is like an Achilles heel to our countries defenses like the ol saying of not keeping all your eggs in one basket...

    now of course I do understand we have forces posted all around the world... but still, unnerving

    This is my fear other than the obvious.
    I've watch some of those crazy WW2 docs.
    I cried.
    Having to listen to your own child burn to death in your house that is burning up, you can't see! but you can hear him/her and do nothing. Those cries brought some real fucking hurt! because of a bomb or something like that is a real scary thought.
