Too poor to list anything interesting.
We're not going to do a full on dinner. But have some heavy appetizers (heavy poo-poo, as I call them). But there will be an open bar.

And I feel ya @scottalot on the stage fright. Except mine is more based on the dancing stuff. I'm really from the town of Footloose.

You don't have your dogs with you at your new place?

I'd move back to where they are!

This was a full on meal. Choice of steak or chicken and 3 courses. What got me was if I had the cake made at a bakery instead of let them make it then there was a $3 a slice cutting fee. So they made the cake and my florist supplied the roses to cover the entire 3 layer cake. That was expensive AF around Christmas.

    yep. high maintenance little guys.

no, not really. but the fence + new sod + undeveloped land behind me is leaving some pretty decent gaps in the fence. bringing in a landscaper to talk ideas. if we can get something figured out quick for the big gaps, i'll bring the dogs home this weekend. the main one is at the side gate. there's a good 4 or 5 inches under the gate. kinda pissed that fence contractor and/ or landscape contractor thought that was passable. we've had the fence guys out 3 times already.

my ideas are pretty simple, and it's stuff i could do....i just don't want to, because it'll take me forever. 100 - 150ln ft of edging with some river rock between the edging and the fence, about a 2ft border. close off a small section of the backyard by the A/C unit, which is where the bad gap is and remove sod, then add crushed granite or pebble of some sort for trashcan storage, then some pavestone between that and the driveway.

    Move the fencing man.

Fuck shrubbery, means trimming and more time on lawn care and less beer time.
