    I think I'm going to get that heavy 38lb flywheel, the pro clutch, and headers for more flow with future mods :)

    The total is roughly what I'd pay someone to install the engine and replace all the seals and stuff I did.

    Camped out last night hoping to see the Perseid shower but rained all night and cloudy anyways. Woke up this morning and explored a WW2 bomber plane crash that was only found a few years ago

    Anyone have experience with Doug Thorley headers in recent years? I've been reading up on them on custom tacos and here, but most of the threads die out a good seven years ago or so - would like to hear some current experiences with them & any issues like

    * fit and finish
    * hardware / gaskets
    * leaks
    * ease of install (will be installing with engine out)

    Also can anyone tell if these are the new or old style headers - the old style was notorious for leaks

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-T100-TACOMA-4WD-V6-TRD-PERFORMANCE-HEADERS-/261651782417?rmvSB=true

    Thank you

    Sorry man, I'm hanging on to all my stock parts in case I ever decide to sell the truck. There is one in the Buy/Sell/Trade section:

    I hate my Husky floor liners. Poor fit, always sliding forward.

    Then again I wasn't impressed with WeatherTechs in my Legacy either.

    I have a set of thorleys and they fit perfectly, coating has held up well over the past few years (including winters). Install wasn't horrible, not a single leak in the 3 years I drove with them

    I loved my weathertechs.

    I dislike how flimsy the huskies are. I hang the edge with my foot when I get in/out and it slings the dirt everywhere. Ha ha.

    They didn't slide when I had carpet, but when I installed the vinyl it was hell. Took my dremel and removed all the little tits from the bottom and added some Velcro.

    Awesome truck. Reminds me of Baby Frank.

    In year's past the Perseid meteors were a spectacle for me. At least 40 per minute. I was camping the past four days and only saw three. However one of them was the most incredible meteor I've ever seen. Lasted at least 2.5 seconds, was super low and lit up the entire valley we were camping in. In all my years I've never seen a meteor display like that.

    I'll sell you my Husky Liners (front and rear, the rear not being cut) for a good deal.

    Do you reckon I could manage Slick Rock if I had sliders? I only have the front skid though.

    Letting go is hard, man. We'll all be there someday. I plan on driving mine until I or it are unable to do so.

    Or I find a screaming deal on an 80 series LC. :spy:

    OBDR Day 3 was a CRAZY day. Perhaps the only day we were less prepared than we should have been.

    • One the one hand...You never want to find yourself in a wet clay "meadow" (shallow lake), miles from anyone, without some traction devices. Slowly sinking.
    • On the other hand, there were awesome sections like this...

    Got a part number? I need these, mine are ass right now.

    Swapped my CKSA-12 for a CKMA-12 this weekend. This is still only a secondary air source/locker actuation for me.

    70932A9E-57DF-42E0-8673-9D4D6B43E260_82cdf255c089bc49de8d4f4b2a8fc72b766299f5.jpg

    I was surprised the CKMA really doesn't have a much larger footprint than the CKSA.

    Also have a "ghetto snorkel" in the works.

    Really just trying to make the intake a little more protected, especially with no fender liners.
