no worries! I'll be seeing you the following weekend. haha

    so what my plan is:

I'm going to park the Tacoma in the garage and just drive the Miata to work all that week... so hopefully I can spend a couple evenings in the garage PB blasting everything and tearing out all my old suspension and stuff so that way when you get here, it'll be a lot quicker and easier to focus on getting your truck done.

have you found a buyer for your wheels tires?

it's def a nice drive out there.... we're only about 40-45 min from my house in Ashburn

and I have you 4 coming out.... plus 1 guy from work..... so including me, we have 6 dudes there... and not a lot of stuff... so it should be pretty painless....

plus, I plan on doing a few small loads this week anyways

You MIGHT be seeing me the following weekend haha. Haven't heard if @buyobuyo has heard anything on his bumper or not.
Haven't really tried finding anyone to buy the wheels and tires yet. I dont really want to hassle with separating them at this time either. Kinda one of those when it happens, it happens things. If nobody local bites on them by the time they come off, I'll post a FS thread on here and maybe put them on CL.
Edit: I need to write myself a note to start blasting the bolts as well. They definitely will be angry when we try to make them move.

this is going to seem like an odd request.... but is there no way you can roll around w/out a bumper for a week or so if necessary (or hell, you can even bolt my black one up until your silver one is ready?)

the only reason I ask, is between finishing the rest of school / moving / family visits to the new house etc.... I'm SUPER busy for the next few weekends and that is really the only weekend I'm available to work on trucks.

Still no word from Demello. The last time I called 2+ weeks ago it was heading to powder coat. I'm going to call after work.

    awesome man. I appreciate it.

so you have the single AAL? so really all we really need to do for the rear is just take out that single AAL and toss it in mind? or do you have the 3 leaf AAL or the full replacement leaves?

I'm just trying to get an idea of what all to rip off the truck so it's ready to go... I'm making a "to do" list to have the truck ready. haha

Just got the 2 front 35%. Got it done local @ Skyline for under $100, took them like 10-15 mins.

I just have the single AAL. It is the toytec 1.5" for the TSB springs. If you didn't need your truck you could get a massive head start if time allowed and take the front suspension and bumper out. For the rear I would only need the shocks, and we may need to swap ubolts. I don't remember if the AAL required longer ubolts, but if needed that would be easy since we will have to pull those to put the AAL from mine into yours.
I haven't had a chance to work on pulling anything from the truck yet, but will try to get the ultragauge out sometime this week. I will be out of town this weekend so if I don't get time to do it this week, I will do it during the week next week. I also need to pull my gauges while I have the a pillar off, as well as move the cable for my dash cam. I'll just let it hang down rather than up in the trim so it will be easy to pull when I sell. So many things to do, so little time.
Do you have anyone lined up for the mod day at your place? If my ex is working (I think she is), I may have to bring the kids unless her sister is able to watch them.

Looks great. I plan on tinting the windows on the new vehicle once I get it. I'll look them up, where are they located?

@Me. Projekt are we looking at the 26th, or the 2nd? I wasn't sure which weekend you were shooting for before I ask about babysitting.

not sure about the mod day.... I know @boogie3478 said he might want to come..... not sure who all else is interested in rolling over

but yea I plan on dropping the UCAs, front suspension, ditching my front sway bar, and taking off the rear shocks, loosening the rear U bolts so they are ready for the AAL

and youre welcome to bring the kids as long as they are somewhat well behaved. haha.... we have a big front and back yard, and a 4ft pool they are welcome to get in.... but they might want to bring some toys / swim trunks to play with since we only have baby stuff. haha

Ok I'll ask about the babysitting. My oldest would probably just play on his tablet the whole time, but the younger one gets restless very easily and demands a lot of attention. It's hard taking him places because of this. Once he gets like that he starts complaining about everything and just makes the rest of the day a mess. They are well behaved though. The little one likes to help and is a good helper. He even helped me change my gear oil when I did my 60k. He handed me the bottles as I was under the truck.
