I have a Magnusson supercharger and the ucon to install. I know I could do it but just can't take a weekend (15 to 20+ hours) away from my wife and little ones anymore to dedicate to car/truck projects.

Can anyone recommend a shop for the install around Atlanta?

Does anyone have a current estimated amount that a shop should charge for the install? All the info I could find on this was years old. Thanks!

I hear good things about Greer Auto Services in Woodstock is pretty good. Haven't had them do anything to my truck yet, but I am having them install my lift when it comes in. They have an instagram (@GreerAutomotive) page and it looks like they work on a lot of Yotas... which is how I found them. Give Patrick a call at 678-540-7131 for an estimate.

Your local Toyota dealer should have experience installing the SC. They should charge the accessory shop rate which is less than the mechanic rate. But that doesn't help you on the Ucon.

Sounds really fair. I'd go with them.

X2. That will include the TRD reflash as well, which will allow you to install the Ucon separately.

Hmmm. From talking with gadget it seemed like there was no need for the trd reflash and the ucon. Is there a reason I should have both? What's the benefit?

You don't need both. You just don't want to run the SC on the stock tune. I don't think the dealer will install Ucon. But if they do the SC install then the TRD flash, you can still drive the truck and install Ucon seperately/later and still be able to drive your truck in the mean time. Or you could try to find somewhere to do it all in one step, but unlikely you will find somewhere as experienced in installing the Magnuson blower on a Tacoma as the dealer.
