My puppy Janet. We're not sure what she is. She's definitely part terrier, probably either Pit or Staffordshire. Possibly part Lab too.

 

Looks like 100% love dog to me.

 

Pick up the keys and our GSD is at the door ready to go. Bums me out when I can't take with me because of the face she makes when I deny her what is the most fun of her life.

 

This is Muddy. Chocolate Labrador Retriever, AKC registered, 80lbs, 4 years old.

 

I would rather have that than my dog hating the truck and me wanting to take him on camping adventures. I'm trying to get my pup used the truck but right now he just gets pissed he can't be in the front probably in my lap. The other day he finally discovered the window and he really liked that. He started sticking out to far at a light and I had to shut it for fear he might try and jump out. He was not happy when I shut the window! I have to get a better harness/lead setup to ensure he can't get out the window before his first big trip over labor day! I'm hoping once he gets to use the window more he will really start liking the truck and road trips.

 

my lab is totally chill with riding in the 'access cab' of my taco, even if the windows don't open. she'll just watch the world go by out there... on a long road trip, she curls up and takes a nap.

 

Something I did was cut the LATCH fasteners off of my sons old car seat. Snap one in and the other side snap the other. Short handled lead looped in the middle keeps her passenger status intact.

 

I'm working on it. He's only about 12wks old and does calm down most of the time when I their him in the truck. Been keeping it to short drives when i don't have to go into a store so far. Can't even take him to the pet sore yet since he still needs his final booster shot, should be getting that this week!

I've been thinking about something like that. I have a plan just need to get a few things to execute it. It's still a learning experience since he hasn't had much time in the truck. I also think about the short term and long term since he's still so small but growing fast! Lengths that work now will need to become shorter once he gets bigger.

This is Emma! Kelpie mix, partner in crime, better half. Does not love wheeling but will happily participate for snacks and camping. Haha.

 

My rescued chocolate lab and black lab I've had since 6 weeks old, love their tennis balls.

 

It's kind of a thing with mine. I keep them in a couple places so when we go outside, it's play time. He knows where every one of them is. If we drive toward places we play ball, he gets terribly excited-back and forth, whimpering. The whole bit.
