    This is mine, very happy with it so far.
    5.65 CFM, 40 minute duty cycle, 12 volt, 36-50 amp draw and 150psi max.

    6.16 CFM, 100% duty cycle, this is good, Not sure of max psi or amp draw needs.\
    This is prolly the best bang for your buck for a lifetime purchase and will be going in the Tundra, since I'll be going air lockers and it can run an impact wrench.

    The Viair 400P, can be found cheaper, at the same price as the Smittybilt if you look.

    *note at the bottom,
    CFM ratings for all of those are at Sea Level. They drop as you go up in altitude.

    That being said, purely in my opinion, the Smittybilt is a better buy than the Viair.
    If you have the room, it can be mounted under the hood.
    Drawbacks to the Smittybilt, and as far as I know maybe the same for the rest, is the use of non compatible air fittings for the product. If you lose the inflator, your screwed. The pressure connectors are not compatible with standard high pressure lines. I solved that by welding my own connection to the end and now can use standard fittings and air chucks.

    the higher the CFM and duty cycle rating, the better.

    That thing is huge. A tank can be added to any compressor if a burst of bead seating air is needed.
    Us 1st genners, having the superior 4x4, don't have a need for a lot of useless recovery and glamping storage. We are a minimalist group. :p

    Yup, if you have the space though... its cheap.

    With the nice under hood mounts for the ARB, I'd probably go that route next, with a tank for the hell of it.

    But next rig will probably be full size so I'll have plenty of space.

    If anyone cares, here are the MV50 specs:

    2.03 CFM
    20 minute duty cycle w/20 minutes off (someone please explain why they dont list this as 50% duty cycle)
    30 amp draw
    Couldn't find a max pressure listed.

    Doesn't that work in my favor if you could only inflate 4 1/2 tires in the time it took me to pop my hood, unpack the compressor, and inflate 3 of my own tires..?:duel:

    And he is an engineer so he probably torque spec'ed everything and checked fluid levels before operation

    What it really comes down to is I have mad jealousy for anyone with the ARB twin, so I have to justify my poor life decision of using a lowly MV50.

    Thanks man. That really sucks about the lack of compatible fittings for the Smittybuilt. My MV50 is the same. And I have no ability to weld a 1/4" connector on.

    At altitude this is borderline untrue:

    The SuperFlow MV-50 inflates full size truck tires 25-35 PSI in under 2 minutes. If your car tires are needing inflating too, the MV-50 can easily take care of that in under a minute.

    If you're an off road enthusiast and need to air up to get back on the black top, the SuperFlow MV-50 easily gets the job done on a tire up to 33 inches. The duty cycle for this tire inflator is 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off which is more than enough time to air up all four tires after a long day on the trails​
