Ours are the road ventures too. We did not realize that about the directional thing! Good to know!

That's good to hear. The previous tires were cracking, we had to do something.

    Hello everyone,
also a long time lurker. We moved here in Feb. It's nice to find an active community here.

We are going out tomorrow to what I know as Boulder Basin off 75 near Ketchum. Is that what you mean? I believe the road up is called Boulder Creek.
We tried it back in June and it was still snowed in. My Off Road is stock, I'll let you know when we get back how it went.

I found out about it through a blog: http://www.trailimage.com/boulder-basin-team-building . He has pictures and a video for the ride up.

Looks really clean. I've looked at at least 30 different vehicles since we got here, we needed a second car, and this one looks good. We just got a 2008 FJ Cruiser to go with the Tacoma. Was more than I wanted to spend, but it is in great shape.

I've got an unlimited carfax abo, because if all the other cars I've looked at. If you are serious about the truck, I can run the plate and send the report to you.

So wifey is working OT today and sent me in with her 4runner to get 10k service from the dealer. This should be something along the lines of oil change, rotate tires, check fluids, then send it on its merry way. Oil change should be about 20-30 minutes. Tires and fluid check can be done while oil is draining. Say 45 minutes total start to finish. Wifey even scheduled the appointment for 8:30 to not have a long wait when they are running behind later today. Here I sit, 45 minutes in wondering why they need so long to do such simple tasks. At least I have a new phone to play with. Just got myself a Samsung j7 last night because I was sick of my old phone with cracked screen, and weak battery.

It really is a great blog. That's where I heard about Boulder Basin. We ended up not heading out this weekend. Going to go next weekend.

Did you move here last December?
    Thanks

Did you keep the Subaru as well? Or did Donte replace it?

I think a congrats is in order for @m3bassman and I believe until the honeymoon is over, he needs to be banned. @tcBob can we make that happen?

Did you get married this weekend Ben? Congratulations!

My question of the day.. Do our trucks have side air bags? I've found some info on line that they do but I'm having a hard time believing.

@m3bassman congratulations on the marriage . I talked to my buddy from Ketchum and you were correct I was a little confused with the two different areas. Both sound cool but I was thinking the one up boulder basin outside of Ketchum which you sent the link to. Thank you. Looks like a nice area to explore. Was thinking a Labor day road trip over that way would be fun. Smoke here Is horrible. What's it like around that area?
