Why do people lie about what they paid for a third gen? ... mostly BS thread

I'm going to lie about what I pay for my '18 Pro. I'll actually be paying MSRP, but I'm going to tell everyone here that I got it for $500 over invoice. I think I might even photoshop the paperwork.

 

Really thought the 2.7 would've done better as well... must be all the extra weight I'm hauling.....

 

~$32K SR5 4D, LB, 4WD. ~$40k out the door (gotta pay for roads to drive on). In Seattle, Costco price. No haggle, no angst. Walk in, drive out.

I paid 20K and get 35 MPG! Or is it the other way around???
