does anyone have this issue with their front door window seals (or runs)? I took delivery of my truck this way and failed to have them get it on paper when I brought it up during delivery inspection. Of course it has now ripped on the passenger side and they are telling me it's not covered due to debris being in there. they want $700 to fix. I'm just looking to see if there are more people that have this on their doors.
I had even tried to fix it when I first noticed it and it looked like the second picture so I felt like maybe it was by design. F*&^K

nope 21k, they ask " do you offroad?" I laugh since my truck is heavily modded. "there was debris in there that made that happen, stones and such" I say "It was like that when I bought it, I asked the service manager about it, but he brushed it off as "it's fine"" I already started a case # with Toyota, but I'm tired of going down that road with them, so wanted to see if others had the same issue, before I small claims them for MMWA

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Try a different dealer, or fix it yourself. Bet it's a $50 part.

I don't think that seal flap is a separate part. That's probably why they're charging the $700 for new door panel and labor.

Mossy is the fucking worst. Especially that Service Manager asshole Dale Snow. Good luck getting them to do anything correctly.

Take it to the Truck Shop on Miramar rd. They are certified Toyota techs and can do warranty work and whatever else. James is a good dude too

Yes I have the squealing and the occasional roll down of the deal. Seems like the window is sticky or just not baby smooth. Or it's just a bad seal. I have plenty of wind noise that comes from the door. I have narrowed it down to the window and how it seals. If I roll my window up. I hear a slight wind noise. If I hold the button to completely max it out the noise increases. Working on third brake light leaking issue in my truck now. Only been out a week from the diff recall.
