"Patriot" HiLift jack is now mounted in the bed! That took every bit of 20 minutes. Mounts were given to me and the jack was a birthday present.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I was gonna say something but I'll be nice
I knew that looked familiar! One of my kids lives in Melrose and I'm sure we have gone by there.

So after doing the frame I figured..well, I should do the drums and calipers..clean them up, paint them and be done. I ended up replacing the brakes and rear break drums. Drums were stuck and looked like crap. I didn't get to do the calipers :annoyed:

2 days left on vacation and my kid and I are going on a forest adventure tomorrow :D

Also, I've never done brakes before... I actually went to my town mechanic and thank him for all his work through the years. It's so much work and knowledge that he has to have to get us on the road. He was actually surprised I came by to thank him. People don't expect that anymore I guess.

Went ahead and slashed a sidewall on a super sketchy part of the trail. Tires were only 2 months old! Already have a new one on order, and thank goodness for my full sized spare.
