Here's a better pic of the stacked washers.

I was thinking more about this. Is it possible the bilsteins allow more travel than the ome and that's why your lines were maxed out?

Not sure about OME's. The rear Bilstein B110's have a max extension of 27.28" and the Dakar's with 29XL AALs took full advantage of that 27" at full droop. So yes, the OEM brake lines were maxed out by just a hair. The stacked washers on the brake line bracket was temporary. I felt a lot more comfortable when I added the extended brake lines.

Yep that's gotta be it. The OME are only 23.5"

Thx for the info. What did you do to get more slack for the brake cable?

Grabbed it and bent it downward. Not sure if that helped. The brake cable still looks taut at full droop.

The OME shocks should be the limiting factor for down travel and so longer brake lines should not be needed. The OME shocks were speced out (extended length) this way to prevent from having to change them and is why they are not included in the OME kits. As for the e-brake (someone already mentioned this), they can be pulled forward some more to prevent them from being too tight at droop. I had to pull mine on my Taco and even with tons of droop I'm still good.

What kind of lift do you have with the light duty dakar packs in the rear? I just ordered the light duty. Well technically ordered heavy duty but rather than wait the backorder out, switched to light duty. Hoping the 95Rs do the trick with keeping about 1" of rake after the addition of a Leer XR.

I have the OME 3" kit with the 90021 Nitrocharger shocks. Front has 888 coils.

My last set of dakars annoyed me...tried the zip ties and they didn't last long then back to the squeezing lol....had to get more volume knob to cure that...curious to see how the new springs act after some use to help determine what lift I get for my 15...life at stock is not for me....

Only about 1.5" with the RTT and rack, approx. 300 lbs.

The EL095Rs do not provide the 2.75" as advertised once you add any weight to the truck. I just installed mine and they measure at 23.25" driver's side and 23.75" passenger side which is only 1.25-1.75" higher than a stock 2nd gen. I have about 200lbs over the bed with my RTT and probably another 125lbs between the fridge in the backseat and crap on the roof rack.

They are advertised as true. I have the 95Rs and it is at that height BEFORE you add weight. They even tell you it's for no weight added. If you're worried about lift height you should've gotten the 96Rs... they are designed for weight up to 600 lbs.

They are advertised as 2.75" from no load to GVWR. With that rating I assumed that they would sag with some weight but not to this extent. It's not a deal breaker but I was hoping they'd sag to yield about a 2" lift. I might end up buying the AAL to put on in summer months when I have the RTT mounted and remove the AAL during the winter when it's too cold to camp and the RTT is in the garage.

I plan on doing the AAL to make it an HD pack when it becomes available.
