Had no idea that was it .... doesn't regular real trucks have the same or similar term ? It looked very f-r-a-g-I-l-e, I'm sure that crap would bend/snap pretty easy.

Whateva it is, it was like maybe 6 (looked like 3) inches off the ground. Very downs syndrome looking.

Yeah that IRS isn't designed for heavy duty stuff for a truck. On the original Humvees the rear is also IRS however it has geared hubs so it's actually beefier then what you see on the Ridgeline.

I'm not a car guy at all, so if they're all like that ....at least you can't see it on cars being lower to the ground. But I guess that's what a ridgeline is .. a raised car.

I had to get a look at the driver ... it was a white dude with a weak chin and looong neck. Looked like Ichabod crane.

edit: also had the odd two hand death grip on the wheel like a beginner but dude looked to be 40-50 yr old.

Yeah the clearence is AMAZING. The calipers and brake rotors are actually tucked up on both sides of the front and rear diff. You don't have to worry about faded brakes when you're crossing a river
