What color 3rd gen did you choose/ wish you chose?

I chose MGM and am happy with it, but if Cement had been available in would have chosen that instead.

I got Blazing blue... but had spruce green mica been an option for a 17 limited I'd chosen that.

 

Because somebody got overly impatient and could not wait or was too impatient to look around. Granted --in some cases some folks have to move fast -- but the majority (I would guess) is a result of the lack of patience!

 

That is a great color! My choice was the same.

 

Cavalry Blue is ugly af

 

I love Black the instant I wash it. 5 seconds later I hate it when the first spec of pollen, dust or whatever lands on it. So black was out. Travelled 2 hours to see some of the other colours. I liked Barcelona red in one brochure and hated it 5 pages later. Didn't like it in person. Same went for quicksand. Loved the brochure pic but then saw one with salt and dirt spray in the winter.

Debated on the Blazing blue and White and possibly the MGM. Since I wanted an OR some colours looked awesome with colour matched flares and some looked better with the black OR flares. I debated Inferno until I sat in one. Couldn't stomach the interior colour matching.

White was my final decision and just happened to be on the lot at my local dealer who was giving me the best deal. It was the exact truck I had test drove a few times. The OR black flares and factory hood deflector in black gave just the right amount of contrast.

All of the Tacoma colours look cool at times, in different lights etc. It's hard not to second guess yourself. I chose Silver Sky, mainly because I'm lazy AF when it comes to washing my truck, and the Silver hides the road dust perfectly. My second thought was it's a nice, darker silver that looks great against the colours of the local landscape in photos.

 

No one knows where to see the new colors?

 

Went into the dealership wanting MGM till I saw a Quicksand in person. Plus it helped they couldn't find a MGM OR with a manual trans within 200 miles of the dealership...

 

I've only heard rumors here and there on TW. Nothing official.

 

Barcelona red for me. The only other color I was considered was the MGM but there happened to be a DCLB off-road available when I was looking. Super pleased with it.

 

When I first started selling the 3rd gen I gravitated towards the quicksand, such a cool color. Then I saw cement and that's all she wrote

 

I got Brocelona, but I wanted Radiant Red.

My other choices were superwhite and bbp, but I wanted something different. The Tacoma is the state truck of Hawaii and I wanted something not many other people had. Sooooo....
