oh what a rotten day I had.

Got my half awake ass in the truck in the morning, and push the button. Nothing. o_O
    <crickets?>
    <push><press><PRESSS>!

    Nope. :annoyed:
Got out, looked under the hood for a disconnected battery cable maybe?
<Nope. Nothing to see here>
Got back inside, and more press and push! Step on the brake hard and then push. Nope.
Go back home. Call toyota roadside assistance.
Guy comes and gives me a jump. Starts right away.
Told me that the battery might have run down, just drive it for half hour and all should be good.
Drove my truck straight to the postal office (30 mins away near work). Switch off truck and got out.
Came back, and pressed again. NOPE!
    :annoyed:
Got somebody to give me a jump.
Drove to work. Switched off in the parking structure. Tried to turn it on again. Nothing.
Fast forward to the afternoon. I call dealership and tell them the issue.
They told me to bring towed in tomorrow.
Got a friend to give me another jump in the evening, and drove home. After sitting in traffic for a good 45 minutes.
I reach home and turned it off, and tried to turn it back on again after 1 second. It won't start.
Tomorrow I get to tow my truck to service center.
Looks like the battery won't charge.

Weird thing is,.. I have no accessories connected except the mattgecko bed lights and under the hood lights, but it can't be them. I had those for little over a year.
    Could the battery have died?

No charging light on dash? Have a multimeter to check battery voltage with engine off and running?

I looked for a brand name, and it has none. Its' some no name toyota battery they put in it.
After the warranty ends, I will replace battery with something better. Until then I have to endure these guys.
They already started throwing up their hands up in the air when they saw that I had @mattgecko lights connected. And I was like, are you fucking kidding me. Those things aren't the root cause. I had to tell them 'if it makes you feel any better, you can disconnect them and then see.'

Honestly when I took it in I took off my led fogs, hid headlights, ditch lights, interior led, reverse lights, raptor light. I didn't want them to use any of that as an excuse. It took me about an hour to remove the accessories but I got a brand new battery with warranty so I'll say it was worth it
