The dealership by my house told me 4000.00 to order a hood, paint, and install for the 2017 OR.

I always wanted a Sport hood for my 05 SR5. After some paint work and new parts it looks like an '11 TRD Sport now lol. But anyways, it took forever for me to find a used OEM sport hood. Best advise I have is to be patient and look for good deals and have it blended to match your paint. I found mine used but OEM with dents and scratches and it was black. Now it looks like factory for around $500 total. In the end its a few hundred vs over a grand. Worst part about buying a used sport hood is sometimes you have to buy the insert too which usually runs ~$150 without shipping. IMG_2690.jpg

If it makes you feel any better, here in oahu, the dealer has 375 sports in stock and 96 ORs....because that many people loves the skewp.

Do they charge extra for destination fees and stuff cause it's not on the mainland?

I think it was only marginally higher. I think I paid 900 something for a destination? The dealer here is pretty fair though. Being the only Toyota dealer on island, they still charge under MSRP by a fair amount. 4% Tax also helps compared to the 9% when I used to live in SoCal.

Destination fee is like $900 here as well. But having half the tax I do actually makes it a better deal it seems. I wouldn't mind having Hawaiian plates lol.
