    I do, give or take. I can be 8500 or 12k. It holds 8 qts, If I'm going on a trip, it might be sooner. I've been doing all my own oil changes. I like the piece of mind.

    You are going to hate the element type oil filter. The mess can be pretty bad. I don't bother with the little drain plug, I just unscrew the whole thing and let the oil go all over my hand. Its still a neater job than the wifes' 2.7 oil changes.

    Gotcha. That oil filter type doesn't bother me, but unnoticed a lot of people change every 5k miles despite the manufacture recommendation
