I realize that there is a diff thread that is quite large, However the purpose of this thread is to find out what happened to those who were lucky enough to have the work or recall completed on their trucks.
I wanna know if the remedy's issued are truly fixing the issues or if its a bandaid and this will be an issue going forward.

I think this will help future Tacoma owners feel better about their new purchase and existing owners feel like they aren't waisting their time.

With that in mind, Below are some of the questions I would have.

    1. Year/model
    2. Build Date
    3. Were you on the recall list?
    4. What work was performed.
    5. Since the work was performed have to noticed anymore seepage or leaks?
    6. How many miles have you put on the truck since work was finished.

Feel free to provide more details in addition to the answers from the questions above.

2 - Not sure offhand (and not walking out to check right now ;-) )
    3 - Yes
4 - Checked and re-torqued the diff bolts at my 10,000 mile service.
5 - No, but there wasn't any to begin with either.
    6 - 2,000 or so

FWIW, the service manager at my dealer said they hadn't seen any with a leak yet at their location.

Just dropped mine off for state inspection yesterday and asked to have the recall completed. Received a call from the dealership about an hour later asking me to come pickup my rental. Apparently mine was faulty. I was told they were unsure how long my vehicle would be there. Dealership was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience. I was told they had completed 3 Tacomas already and they were in the 45 day range till completion, which was due to the lack of parts.

    1. Year/model: 2016 SR AC 4cyl
    2. Build Date: I think 10/15
    3. Were you on the recall list? Yes
    4. What work was performed. Waiting to see. Never saw any leaks though
    5. Since the work was performed have to noticed anymore seepage or leaks? N/A
    6. How many miles have you put on the truck since work was finished. N/A
