Paid 47k for my 17 TRD OR DC since I owed 7k for my trade in. It was a now or never type buy. No regrets and absolutely love this truck. Going wheeling this sunday.

Now go feel better about your deal.

I paid a little under 35k for mine. That was before tax, the clear mask and some other dealer goodies.
I got a discount through Boeing.
And thanks to all the OT, I paid it off this last Friday.:bananadance:

He could have gotten the truck for $27K..... but what he forgot to tell you is how bad he got screwed in his trade in. No matter what happens, the dealer is going to make their money.

When all this talk about lying about what people paid came around, I didn't think much of it. I was really thinking, whytf someone would lie about something so stupid to lie about? I felt kind of bad about it because I was sharing how I got my deal to help prevent others from getting screwed.... At least in my view, both parties should walk away happy, dealer needs to make money, I need a fair deal on a truck. Apparently, there are chuckle heads who just want to inflate their egos.

Truth is.....walked into the nearest Toy Dlr. to my home picked out exactly the truck wanted, bright white TRD access cab with towing pkg. and automatic Trans. they didn't have it, they called me 5 days later
there was an in bound transport from San Antonio. to be in within 48 hours. I picked it up with 1 mile showing on the odometer, assembly date was 11 days before. Yes I paid MSRP no haggle. I told the F&I guy
" no mop and glow , no choke and crook" and I had 1.9% financing from local credit union, he almost threw me out of his office.LOL
I am proud of my no stress purchase.

Even if you had your financing arranged in advance. Why did you agree pay MSRP and not try to get the price down even a little bit?

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Maybe because?.. he did not want to --or felt he was happy with his deal? Not all people feel like negotiating or "haggling". I personally am of the type -- I know my numbers and the price I want to pay before talking to a dealer. This is a number I am happy with ahead of walking in the dealers doors. I also know what vehicle I want and how I want it equipped -right down to the color. If they don't have it --I can wait, or if they don't want to use MY numbers, --I know the way to their exit -- after all I came through the same doors on my way in! Also I don't cloud the figures with a trade-in. You wind up knowing what exactly you are buying and exactly what you are paying. After this is figured out --then you can talk to them about financing -if that is needed. I also kindly explain to them if at any time they try to sell me an extended warranty -- I will head directly to the door.
