Not sure if this will strike any interest here but I was stoked to have a hand in this one.

 Beautiful! I'm a huge closet BMW fan. grew up with my dad rebuilding them all the time. Old 2002tii's and I had a 325xi that was a great car.

    enough to go over stuff
yesterday I got mad at my truck...

Did the oil change. Then a power steering fluid swap. Cleaned my steering rack and fixed the tierod boot that had fallen off. But now I was getting tired and I still had to check out my leaky front diff. Its had a slow leak at the pinion for a while. Fluid was low. so I dropped my skid. couldn't get the lower diff plug off. Felt like it was going to strip. It was getting dark. @jberry said to clean out the plug well and hammer the 10mm in. That worked got it off but my lubrimatic fluid pump thing wasn't working so I had to pour the oil back in. Ended up getting oil all over myself and the garage. Finally filled it. Had a hard time getting my skid to match up with my bent transmission skid. Its a love hate relationship with my truck. There was a lot of cursing.

Just did my changes a couple weeks ago. T-case and both diffs. That 8 dollar pump is a piece of shit. Would not screw on the quart size, but fit gallon size. Pump leaked out the top, below the handle right out of the package. Piece of shit! Guy at Monument auto parts said it would probably only be good for one session. Bullshit. Had to put a pan under the jug to catch all the oil spewing out the top so as to save the oil and put it back in the gallon jug, to be run through the leaky pump again. What an ordeal. I feel your pain.

Any of you fellas ever replace one of these: Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft 4522004020? Tried the zip-tie fix; made things worse. The steering clunking/looseness is totally out of hand. Found a TSB (attached) that makes it look simple, but I'll be looking for some help on this one.

When you put the tailgate plate on, you'll likely find that you must remove 2 panhead screws at each top corner. This was a Toyota design change after Eric designed the plate. Drove me fucking crazy till I figured it out.

I have the voodoo tailgate cap on now. Replacing with Relentless cap/plate I bought from T4RFTMFW. Thanks for the heads up.

3.Go:rofl:i don't mind it being slow I don't race. This is my second one. My first was a 92 pick up almost hit 350k on original motor till heads went out. Was passed down to me from my Pops and he's the worst at getting oil changes on time and didn't do any service besides an oil change and refill his A/C.
