We slept soundly through the calm night and woke up just as the sun was painting the sky the next morning. Well rested, we were excited for the coming day of travel - the plan was to reach Seneca, the town where we'd set off on what turned out to be Mission Impossible: OBDR, back in May.

I don't understand how a dealership has only 1 guy working online part orders and lets this dude take off w/o someone covering for him...emails and voicemails went unaswered for almost 5 god damn days.

 

What are your plans?

That's essentially what happened when I had to change the headlight bulbs in my Prius.

 

Hey Nate, how do you like the Sony head unit so far? Are you using the Andriod Auto feature? Did you connect a backup camera?

I've been eyeballing this unit for my truck also but wonder a bit about it's usefulness being so low in the center stack.

damn, so jelly.

 

I'm pleased with everything about it. It does sit low but it still plenty visible and easy to use. I have an iPhone so I use apple car play. I did not connect a backup camera. It's very seamless and responsive going between menus or making selections. I give it a 10/10.

 

Oh man those are brutal too, I'd rather keep changing engines than ever do headlights on a WRX from 2002-2008

 

I feel you, I'm in the same boat!!! Gunny1005 at Camelback Toyota quoted me 86+ change with the TW discount. Still very high for black plastic!

Thanks for the input. Most of the reviews I've read have been pretty solid so I may just have to pull the trigger.

 

Ordered a new front bumper today.... Anyone want my bent Relentless, the main center winch area and passenger side is undamaged.

 

A little too far for me or I'd be all over that. What kind of bumper did you go with?

Replaced the front speakers with some new Pioneers to fix an odd popping/cracking sound when the volume is cranked... didn't fix it, thinking maybe my head unit is bad (after market unit, older than the truck, but it has AUX in!!)

Ordered up some for the rear too, probably should have done this all in one shot, but wanted to troubleshoot with a cheap fix first.

Going to check the wiring and then replace the unit if everything checks out.
