Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
I'm gonna go with Staffie. This is our "puppy" who the rescue coined as part lab. DNA tests showed no definite lab, just Mastiff and Staffordshire, and a bunch of other mixes. The nice thing is, per DNA, she is mostly mastiff. But she is 45 lbs and all staff!! Great dog, as long as she isn't with other dogs :(. Cute puppy and enjoy!

How did you get the dog through customs? No quarantine? Takes me nearly an hour to get through customs at Belize City, just about every time. And no dog.

I did have to get an International Health Certificate signed by my vet.
I remember crossing the Mexican border between Brownsville and Laredo, TX.
The Mexican official was a cute girl that spent all her time with 8-wk old Rafael.
She practically ignored me but to ask me to give her my dog LOL.
Belize was pretty easy as I am a Catholic priest and we are highly respected there.

My AC belt was slipping going through Mexico on that trip 105ÂşF
So I drove with the windows down.
My poor puppy has never been able to stand much heat since!

What have you done in Belize Don? Vacation?

I have it hooked into the car seat anchor and it gives him enough room to move around but can't get up front. You can buy a swivel carabiner by itself here if you wanted to make a custom length one.

Vacation. Yes. 8 times, over the last 15 years, to Turneffe Flats Lodge on Turneffe Island, Bonefishing. Still hoping one day to hook a Permit. Same for Tarpon. Went inland one year, after fishing, to a place near the Guatemala border. Place called Chaa Creek. Amazing. Turnoff Flats are dog lovers, as well, and we enjoy there company when we're away from our two. Sadly, though, some of their smaller dogs have been lost to the crocs.

    Turneffe Atol, wow!
I could never have afforded to go there, but glad you did.
I lived on San Pedro for a year at the church and would ride my bike to more remote places where I could get into schooling bonefish.
They would even school around the town dock too.
Never got into tarpon or permit.
    I just love to flycast.
You've got to be a double hauler.
What make and size of rods were you casting?
I caught most of my bonefish on a 5wt Temple Forks TiCrX that could throw a 7wt line a good distance in the wind.
