I honestly could not stand the 275s. I gave in and upgraded to 315s. looks SO MUCH BETTER! to be honest, I look at them and think, "hmm, they still look small." my rims are only 17, so they aren't as big as people who have 18+ rims. I don't think I could go down, I am already saving up for a pair when these wear down since they are expensive AF!!!

Haha ok ok you're the second person this week to say the exact same thing. I still may size down my wheels though. Thinking of getting the Black Rhino Warlords and painting the tan bead lock replica to match. Besides...I couldn't get TA KO's in 295's any way. You're truck looks great. Your pictures helped me realize that 295's weren't what I wanted. Thanks.

Yeah, I have seen some people go from 315 all the way down to 285, and it doesn't look too bad, but in my opinion 315 / 35 + is freaking bad ass!

Aaaahhh! I went with 275 because I could get my spare in the stock location, but now I'm with you - they look small, and these trucks are long. I'm going to put my aluminum skid plates to the test...

it depends on what lift you have TBH. Mine is a 6 inch lift. And now I have to try and figure out what I am going to do for a spare. I plan on upgrading my wheels, when I do I will buy 5 and then another 315 tire. Then I have to figure out where to put it. Myabe a swing out with a new high clearance bumper. Either way, 315s are costing me a lot in upgrades. Still BADASS!! haha
plus they are all upgrades I planned on doing eventually. The 315s kind of just made me have to do them.

I'm lifted about 2 inches, ICON Stage 4 with adjustable shocks and UCAs. ICON recommends no larger than 285/70/17 to avoid rubbing. I went with 275/70/17, which is 32.2 inches tall in the tire brand I chose (BFG KO2). I wanted a full-size spare, and I wanted to avoid the added cost of the after market bumper and tire carrier (as mentioned, my spare fits under the truck). But yeah, 315s are badass, and those tires with your lift will get you through the rocks! I see you are in SLC - at altitude like me. How is your truck going up high passes with those big tires?

Well, it drags a bit, but it really is not as bad as a lot of people think. I went with the BFG in the load C, it was lighter than the E. I have gone up Big Cotton wood Canyon and Logan Canyon and the truck handles fine. Still, plan on eventually doing a re-gear, need to read up on it a bit more. MPG is 15-16 so I can live with that.

Once I got my CMC done, I was asked "So when are you going to get 38s" haha. I bow to people who are rocking 38s on Taco.
