@sean266 Is it possible to create a thread that can only be updated by staff and OVTuned where he can update everyone on the relevant details and this thread can remain a discussion thread?

This seems more reasonable if possible.

I'm sure OV tune has better things to do then sift through over 200 pages of editing. People would rather he works on getting Tunes done.

Just let it ride and stop complaining about off-topic posts. If we could get out of the business of chastising folks for their postings, the tone of the forum would change radically. We're all here for the same reason - we found this thread because we care about ensuring our Tacos perform the best possible. The OVTune thread isn't off-topic, it's just evolving... let nature do it's thing.

50 pages have to be about people complaining about OT posts....which ironically creates more OT posts. Just drop it and let the thread ride or else it will end up filling back in with "why was my post deleted" posts. Isn't there a vendor section where the OP could eventually create a thread with all the technical details once development is "complete"? Isn't this forum we are in about general 3rd gen banter? Isn't that what people are doing?

@OVTune - Just got my truck back from the dealer. The line card doesnt show anything they have done to the ECU, but how would I be able to tell if so? Maybe its placebo effect, but I swear it felt like it was driving different on the way home... mostly around the transmission shift points and more hunting then normal. Should I read the ECU and send to you or can I somehow determine if its the same tune it went in with?

I didn't mean that to you.
I just think people should read a thread to get all the info instead of whining and asking for it to get cleaned up. Many have followed this from the beginning. Some just jump in and ask for a nice little report. When I do research I find a thread, grab a beer and get to reading. Sometimes several hundred pages but I find what I need. I've been reading threads on this forum for years without feeling like I needed to join and ask questions. While I think a nice op helps, this is a development thread and in between OV updates interested parties shoot the shit, then get an update, debate and back to waiting for updates.

Crap, I just wasted space in the thread.

Just an update for the rest of y'all, I sent in my ecu to OP and he verified it was still 1.01B. Placebo effect from the dealer!

I had the exact same feeling after I went in for my 10K checkup. I asked them if they flashed anything and they said no and the papers indicate nothing was flashed but damn if the truck is hunting more and my MPG are down about 2 points. Power feels the same though lol

Probably the learning mentioned. Needs to be setup so the variability as a result of learning is gone. I'd like to see that as a top priority for 1.02 if not already added, myself.

I don't have any pre tune numbers, but my mpg definitely improved. This is 60 highway(70-75mph) and 40 city. Sport dclb, at with front skirt removed and heavy atm dynapros(265/70/16)

I'm with you guys, hunting for gears again. Maybe not as bad but I notice it. It might not help that I just put new tires on.
