    Hey guys,

I'm replacing my rear main seal and am in the process of putting the transmission back on. I noticed a cable hanging down and cant figure out for the life of me what it is or where it goes!

It's not something that I removed so I'm not sure if it actually went in a specific spot somewhere on the transmission or what.

    Specs:
    2006 Tacoma Sport 4WD
    Transmission A750F

All I know is it's hanging down and I don't know where it goes and I'm at a standstill till I get it resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Just a shot in the dark, but that looks like the breather tube.
IIRC it clips on the firewall.

I believe you're right sparkystaco :). I followed the line back to what it's hooked too and yes it looks to be a breather. I remember now there was something connected to the top bolt on the transmission. Couldn't see anything just had to feel around.

I had the clip out and it matched up to the tube so I'm going with it.

    Thanks for the help!
