    OK... Been a while since I had anything worthy to post about. :oops:

    We commenced disassembly today in prep for a frame replacement. Removed the cap and rear swingout (need to repair the bent bumper and get it re-coated) and also removed all the armor. Everything came off easily except one stripped nut on the LCA skid but the angle grinder made short work of that. :D
    Found that besides the ever-present leaky crawlbox/t-case that the front diff has developed a leak as well...

    Soon to go under the knife...



    Looks so naked without the cap!

    Without all the weight the ass end is sitting up quite high and the Dakar's actually have positive arch! :laughing:

    Has a good amount of rake.

    Here's a side-by-side shot next to Liz who'd on 285's with a 2.5"lift. my bed rails are at least 6" higher than hers... :rolleyes:

    I like the quick setup. After my last cross-country trip setting up and breaking down the CVT every day was getting old. :oops:
