I have a Silver Limited and not a fan of the grey grill.
Before I possibly buy an aftermarket grill I was curious how this would look.
I have tried looking through post, but gave up. Sorry, but I am going to have to ask.


Has anyone with a Silver 3rd Gen ever had their grill color matched/painted Silver?

Silver? The chrome OR grill would probably match up better. Had I not already purchased the Pro grille, I would just do an even swap with you.

There's a hood swap thread in the 3rd gen marketplace. Not sure if there's a grille swap thread but you could start one. Pretty sure someone would swap with you.

 

Traded my '15 Jeep Sahara in last week...Now have a '17 Tacoma TRD Off Road, silver, double cab. Looks exactly like Mike330R's. I was going to buy the dark silver but after looking at them side by side I went with the lighter silver. Next week I'll install a T Rex billet grill all in black. The Tacoma didn't have any problems taking over for the Jeep. Really happy with the trade.

 

Yes, the Chrome OR grille is nice and possibly what I will go with. I have been keeping my eye out for one to come up on Craiglist or FB sale pages near me. I had a truck once that had a color matched grille with chrome trim that looked pretty nice. I want something a little different and was curious if anyone had already done that and if they had, how it turned out. I guess I can try it and see how it looks and if I don't like it then go after a Chrome replacement off another Tacoma.

not the best picture ,i know.....but put these FN Wheels FX Pro with the K02's 265/70/17....i wish the tires were a little bigger ,but oh well.

 

I do 60-65 on the highway with it without issue. I get 10-11 if I can remember from my last trip. That's with the truck, 3 people, lots of stuff in the bed/cab, and a fully loaded boat.

 

I went to the grocery on Friday, and ANOTHER silver taco parked right next me. How about that?

 

I was thinking of the same thing but more along the line of having the Pro grille painted just the sourround and the mid bar and leave the rest black I think it'll look sick but my pchop skills ain't shit or I'd post up a preview.

 

Anyone have any pics of a Silver Off Road with the new black TRD Pro Wheels (not the 4 runner wheels)? I've seen several on quicksand and one on blazing blue and really like the wheels on those colors but would like to see them on silver before I buy. Thanks in advance!
