    Grass didn't get cut...

Ate dinner, pizza rolls. It's almost 7:30, gotta hurry, dark soon.
Got mower from building out back. Fueled up. Pushed it up to the front yard as usual. Primed a few times. Depress blade clutch. Pull the cord.

...and....POP! Went the pull cord! Bitch snapped right where it stops at the cord keeper on the handle when fully pulled.

This is where having hoarder tendencies comes into play :D

I double time disassemble the now broken mower to a point I can get to the pull cord assembly. The fuel line was dry rotten and tore also. (gotta remove the fuel tank to do this sorta thing) Run back to the building and get my earlier model of the same mower, self-propel no longer works in it. This one has a perfect pull cord even though it's older. Take it apart and get what I needed to make the other work.
Put the frankenmower back together, prime it, pull it. VROOOOOOOM!

    Worked like a charm! Let's hope it doesn't rain a river tonight/tomorrow...

I just came across these posts and I am out of here for the day but I wasn't sure if I could be of any assistance (probably tomorrow though). I can't bring up the pictures @dirty deeds deeds to see what you are experiencing with your front coilovers. 5100's come with boots that stay on the shocks. The 6112's do not. I could maybe help more if I could see the pictures :(

@Bluegrass Taco yours should have boots. If I remember correctly you got the 5100's too.

The issue is one dust cover fell down from the shock shaft. Need to see why it happened.
The driver side coil spring issue is my main concern. But that's on me.
