i was looking for the warranty contact last night and couldn't find it. all i can seem to find is a form to fill out for warranty request.

their warranty states that soil erosion isn't covered after the closing date, and that the home owner is responsible for planting whatever to keep the soil intact. that'll be their argument and it's pretty simple, straight forward. i get it. my rebuttal will be that it was noted prior to closing (7 days prior), and it wasn't fixed. that big ass storm came through on the 24th, 2hrs before our final walk through. the builder/ foreman says "I can't really do anything except back fill, but the next rain, it will be lost. You might try grabbing some of the damaged silt fence and screw it to the back of your fence till we get ready to grade the yard behind you. Don't make it permanent." that just doesn't sit well with me. i don't really know when retaining walls come into place, but 3 houses down begins a retaining wall to the end of the street.

everything about our experience has been easy and with little drama. our fence is literally the only thing i have complained about.

 

triathletes can go long and steady. the ups and downs of the greenbelt won't be as easy for him as your think. that said, their mental toughness is ridiculous and makes up for a lot.

 

That's how you get better! The goal everytime I ride the GB is to not set foot on the ground (unless on purpose). I've almost done it a couple of times.

I have a couple of mountain bikes, a 1995 Trek 9900 OCLV Pro Issue hardtail that I've been tooling around on for 20 years. Pic is not my bike, but mine looks very similar, w/o the yellow fork:
