RIP LOLOLOL Poor rat!

 

When our cats would kill mice, birds, moles, etc. and leave the bodies (mostly just parts of the bodies) we would just throw what was left in the woods behind our house. #NewHampshire

 

Hold on, I'm still stuck on this part. People come and take your garbage away?!

Cue a comment about the "boonies" in 3....2....

 

I have separate people to come take garbage vs recycling. And then separate people to plow snow. But then again, Im in the suburbs of DC

 

I have to haul all my junk to the transfer station...

 

My town has garbage and recycling pickup. Although growing up I was very used to going to the dump on Saturday mornings (along with the rest of the town).

 

I want to be able to burn my trash. I am sick of neighbors

I just leave mine for the chickens to dispose of. Which they do, with alacrity and enthusiasm

Yup, that's what I grew up doing. Except the town I'm in now doesn't have one. And the next town over does but they charge non resident fees for anyone else, and you have to buy special bags, and it ends up being hundreds a year by the time you're done. So, I don't do that. I bring it to work

If it came down to it, I'd have someone pick it up. It's not really any more expensive to do that here than it would be to take it somewhere.

I'm pretty sure that's what my neighbors do.

 

What killed it?

 

i dunno, i saw her laying on the sidewalk and went over to see about removing her, and when i walked up she was still breathing but couldn't move. no blood or trauma on her, so i got a shovel and put her under a bush out of the sun

 

Until I moved to MA, I wasn't aware that people actually still drive their garbage to transfer stations. Fortunately, I haven't had the pleasure of living in an area that doesn't have trash pick up. It's actually pretty cheap in the town I live in.

I used to complain about bringing the trash barrels in after school... Jesus was that easy. Now I have to load my fancy car full of stinky bags... Yuckie.
