I'll be posting a garden hose in the exhaust pipe to the cab mod for everyone that bought a 2016-17

The big news is new B-pillar black-out vinyl on 2018. They are gonna use spray-on bed-liner so it's harder to remove.

You go to the dealer... let them give you the 2K plus estimate to fix it.. then you get your insurance check and buy one of these instead: http://www.c4fabrication.com/produc...erland-series-rear-bumper-system-bsm-support/ which will let you still use you BSM and back up sensors!

    The OC!
    Vehicle:
2016 TRD Sport 4x4 double cab.
I drove it to my dealership to get my leaking third brake light replaced. After some quality customer service from the service and parts department, for that issue as well as some other issues I was experiencing, and some compensation from Toyota Customer Care for being a loyal customer for over thirty years I got most of my warm fuzzy feeling back for Toyota.

Saw this while wondering around my dealershipIMG_2986.jpg
$335 to install. Hell I'll do in for $100 and a 5th of Patron.
Did the mods remove smitty99 s "sitting at the dealership" thread? Couldn't find it.
Edit: anyone with this issue my work order says caused by over torqued nuts. (Ouch!) They replaced the entire assembly.
Took 4 1/2 hours to do, they have to remove the headliner and I am sure my Leer in the way didn't make it easier.

That's a sexy bumper there! $2200 + Powder Coat, Line X or Paint cost, with all the bells and whistles is definitely not a bad deal.

Well, I am basing that price compared to what the dealer would charge to replace a bumper.........their cost at the body shop.
