    Of course, mine also makes 325hp and 375ft/lbs of torque.

    I wouldn't hesitate to tow a rzr on a trailer with my 2.7, and that's with roughly 750lbs extra weight on my truck already. Put that 4 banger to work, if you have an auto, like others mentioned keep it in 3rd. if you have a manual trans, then downshift and turn some revs. 2.7 is a great little motor

    Im sure having twice the power figures of the OP may have something to do with a doubled tow rating as well.

    It's possible. It's bone stock, though. Zero performance modifications.

    OP ; keep your weights under the max limits for your truck (listed in your manual) and your truck will handle it just fine. Manufacturers take on a lot of liability when they post tow ratings, so they tend to err on the side of caution to keep the lawyers happy.

    The heaviest version of the razor weighs what, 1500lbs? So even if you've got a 2000lb trailer you're still within your tow rating.

    I pulled a 16 foot trailer loaded with furniture across town when i moved and was very impressed. It didnt seem to run any worse than it already does.

    Horse shit. I haul quite frequently with mine. It isn't going to set a land speed record, but it hauls just fine. Recently I hauled a load of flooring 1,700 lbs...

    OP haul whatever you want. Some just like to hate on the 4 bangers. Ignore them.

    Long time ago I pulled a 5x8 trailer from Colorado to Cali and back with my 4 cyl. You will become an expert using 18 wheelers as wind breakers

    My 2.7 pulls this behind it no problem! You just have to tow smart and stop early, luckily mine is a 5 speed so motor braking helps tremendously! Probably close to 2,500 3,000 lbs. with the weight of the trailer, did 3 trips of firewood that day!

    Then helped a friend move another day, that was 2 trips!

    Personally don't own one but a good friend has one base reg cab 5speed it's an 07 2wd him an both over 225 pulled his single axle enclosed trailer full of heavy oak furniture. We went about 45mi he has a brake contoller installed an antisway I was impressed how well it did was able to maintain 65 on hwy in 4th all in all I'd say the weight was right at 1800-2000 ballpark figure.

    A few years back I was building a shed, and hauled the material for the roof and second floor home on the rack of my 98 regular cab. It consisted of the following;
    30-2x10x16, 30-2x6x12, 24-2x4x8, and a 2x8x20.
    It was pretty top heavy, but it hauled it just fine. Now my 95.5, and 02 extra cab 2.7s were pretty numb, but that regular cab was a great truck.
