If I didn't just get the wsm, I'd pick up a kettle.

    What's your grill situation?!?!

When we build drum smokers with a dome lid, we buy replacement lids from a Weber parts fulfillment center at nearly $50 a piece. This would have been a major score. Oh well. Hope someone else gets hooked up!

I hear you. If I was in the market for a grill, I'd run over there right away as Webers don't see a whole lot of discounts. For $35, I'd hurry regardless of how many I already had . You could resell them for $60, make someone really happy and get yourself a steak.

Very true. Back to stalking offerup and CL...:spy:

Also, I decided to hold off on that pork belly this past weekend. Since I was able to snag some of your rub I figured that'd be a perfect maiden voyage :bananadance: and possible some ribs... and a butt... :D

That rub is really good on the pork belly. Probably a wise choice to wait! I'm going to pick up two of them tomorrow for our little fundraiser this weekend :D.

The gas grill is awesome, heats to 500 in a minute or so. It was a snap decision to get it, but it has served me well. I got the offset part down as well, just uses too much coal for long smokes, thus the Wsm. When the gas side dies, I'm going to do my best to turn the whole thing into a reverse flow stick burning smoker.

Well, Damn. You guys keep making me spend more money. I swear, this thread has made me spend more money than the rest of the site has made me spend on my damn trucks.

Looks like a local Wal Mart has 2 in stock for $35. Gonna go get both and try to flip one to keep the other for free.

That is how I ended up with the "free" WSM 18. Sold one for the price I bought both. :oldglory:

I am here, they are here. Already assembled. But, of course, the garden section is locked. Now I am waiting to see if a manager can open it really quick. The grills are about 10 inches on the other side of the door. Such a tease if they do not accomodate me.

As a regular Slickdeals shopper, the first rule is to never call. It tips off employees that something is on clearance for cheap. They can either buy it or hide it for a friend to buy.
