    Complete rebuild at 197k miles
    i've read all 5 (GRRM will likely perish before he finishes book 7 at his current rate and every expanding waist). Book 5 (A Dance with Dragons) was absolutely painful to read. The last few hundred pages are great. everything before absolutely sucks! I hope Winds of Winter is better; although, since i saw it looks like it may be early 2019 before it is actually released I may just let HBO finish the series and move on. Started reading Brandon Sandersons Stomrlight Archive and i'm actually liking that a lot more than ASOIAF.

    good point. What killed me in Book 5 was the seemingly endless new characters that were added. I am sure it will tie in once WoW finally releases, but it is difficult to keep up with all the additional characters and plot lines (when it appears to have little do with with the main plot).

    no doubt some of the characters were good. Overall i was disappointed with the book in particular. Of course, I think GRRM could have written ASOIAF in about 5 books total. I hope i'm wrong and there was a grand reason for adding additional characters 5 books in.

    My concern for spoiling was to the people who plan to read ASoIaF or are in the process of reading ASoIaF. HBO GoT deviated from the books from the very beginning, some topics in discussion here can spoil the books for them. I didnt realize that till it was pointed out to me when I first started posting here.
    Ill be using for book content
