What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Nice to see a full size shovel and a Razorback at that.

 

It's funny I have always used a full size. I'm kinda tall, but it is just easier to use a full size and mounted to bed or bed rack the full size does not take up any additional ( usable ) space ! We should start a FULL SIZE SHOVEL CLUB .

 

I hear what your saying, it a customer service thing, but.. nobody puts a wash mit or a spinning brush to my truck that has washed 100 cars before mine. My dealership washes every car it services, and from what I have seen they do a pretty good job. I tell them I appreciate it but no thanks.
I am fortunate that there are at least 7 Toyota dealerships within about a half hour of me. Sometimes you have to shop around to find one you like. Kinda like a good breakfast place.

My dealerships offered a wash on every serviced car. I had automated soft wash for everything .
Hand washes for major service.
And a detail for all major jobs , i.e. Engine, transmission, gear changes...big ticket items.
But always asked customer permission.

The way it should be. Nowadays, you replace a transmission and pick-up your vehicle still dirty, inside and out. SMH.

 

How did you figure out where to pry and with how much force so that you didn't break shit? I want to do the mod, but I'm concerned about breaking parts and pieces, thanks.

If you really like the TRD emblem on your tailgate, be careful not to spray it too hard. I found out that a good wash will remove the painted sections and you'll be left with just a chrome emblem.

 

They try to wash mine every time, they get a huge NO WASH right across the work order.. even if it's filthy.
