    Since I am in the process of probably getting rid of my bull bar and mounting my light bar behind the grill, I'm also thinking about getting rid of bug guard thing on the hood.

    I did watch it , and I was amazed. I thought at first maybe the paint would effect the fins. I was also wondering if the black would attract more heat from the sun.

    I haven't seen any change in temp or performance since I did it. As far as I know, or can tell, it hasn't been affected in anyway. I also have an Ultragauge, and have the temp on it, and before and after didn't change.
