SOLD Spyder "LED" Headlights for '12-'15: $200

I am attempting to sell my <1 year old Spyder brand "LED" headlights. They work just fine, and the LEDs are actually just the two accent pieces on top and bottom of the projector and high beam. Originally CarID sold me LED bulbs to use as a replacement to the halogens (incorrectly sold me that is, as the LED bulbs were not designed to be used as primary bulbs), and they did not fit, causing me to need to bore out the projector well a little.

The lights work with no problems, as previously stated; I have had no issues, just never really liked them after installing them.

I am asking for $200, and plus shipping to non STL locals. A link to the new sets are here:

This is the interior of the low beam projector where I bored out the light opening a little. The standard bulb still fits and is secured without issue.

So to break it down:

Accent pieces: LED
Low Beams: Halogen bulbs in projector lens
High Beams: Halogen bulbs in high beam compartment

Can you PM pics of the LEDs on/headlights off in the daytime? Are the LEDs on like a DLR ?

 

You'll have to pretend the lowbeams are not on, this is the only picture I have and have since installed other headlights. The LED strips come on with the parking lights and remain on whenever high or low beams are turned on.

Not sure of shipping just yet, but they use regular haloden bulbs for the headlights. the only LED portion of this light is the strip you see.

 

i have led low/high beam combo bulb. Im wondering if they will fit?

 

CarID incorrectly sold me H7 LED bulbs that are what I bored the bulb cavity out to fit. As long as the bulbs are similar, they should work.

Keep in mind though that if your LED bulbs come with the fan, they will not fit in our trucks with this light set.

 

I got mine to fit in the oem light housing. Just had to modify the rubber waterproof gasket

Based on where the projectors are in the lights, any bulb that has extra contraptions (like the cooling fans on most high powered LED bulbs) will not fit. You will be contending with the windshield washer fluid reservoir on passenger side, and the frame of the truck on both.

 

how big are the headlights like L x W x H? Im still interested

 

Not sure what you mean. They are made to be a direct replacement of the OEM lights you have in your profile picture. I was able to see no dimensional difference.
