Finally edited and uploaded my Cleghorn trip with the boys. The TRD Pro 4Runner was nice especially since it's my cousin in quicksand.

Installed the Total Chaos bed stiffeners. Interesting that the right side of the bed, there was easily a 3/8" gap between the stiffener and the bed upright. Was a little schocked. Also used a hand held smooth end of a drill bit to align the top hole of the bracket to the bed top hole before drilling the holes into the bed upright. Drilled and installed the bolts working my way up to that top hole. Tightened everything up....gap is gone.
The other side the bracket was flush with the bed upright before installing. Had to do the same thing with the drill bit to align with the top hole of the bracket before drilling the holes into the bed upright.
Did all this before adding my ARE shell the other day.
    Impressed.

I'm not sure if there's a form for this already but I was wondering where to get good rocker switches like this that factory fit the 2017 tacoma. Iv had 2 of these push button ones and they have both messed up.
Thanks in advance for any help

Nice! I assumed my boards would fit like that but didnt measure and no go on the short bed. I'm still trying to come up with a solution that works with the trifold.

I've only done the trail at night solo. Whole different dimension when dark holes and ruts are exaggerated. Went backwards though. Will be planning on heading out in the day time soon.

I've got a factory bed divider under trifold with the boards and water/fuel packs secured to it. Not sure if you can give up the space for it though. Still have it all strapped together with with 1.5 inch lashing straps.

I have seen that on other vehicles. Appreciate the tip. I just assumed they were sun faded. I actually ordered a flat silver emblem and received this by accident. I liked it so I kept it. I will baby wash that area. Even if the colors wash away will still be better than the dealer logo.

I've definatley thought about it but I really don't want anything blocking the sun roof. :notsure: plus I already bought the Yakima ski rack for the OEM.

After 1.5 years of use my Husky liners have never moved without using any locking clips.

definitely some first world problems. Luckily with the Prinsu you can adjust the crossbars to be wherever you want, but definitely will still block part of the sunroof. Just heard today that my Prinsu should land next week, just in time for my CO trip.

    Fa real!!!
I have some relentless tool holders coming and have and idea that will probably work for holding the boards in the bed. Just need the deadman and murder spork show up first so I can figure it all out. When are you gonna be in CO? I'll be passing through Sept 9th 10th.

Man... This is the exact reason I chose to get the windoors in my A.R.E. V-Series. I can't recommend them enough!

You probably haven't had anyone ride shotgun for 1.5 Years.

My husky's still moved when I had a passenger, so I had to do the same thing :(

Way too many things!!! I'm trying to round out my recovery gear before our trip. Deadman carries a unique black powdercoated murder spork that would probably look good on your truck...... just sayin
