Hey guys looking to get your opinion on how much this vehicle is worth in Seattle.

    http://www.toyotaofkirkland.com/kir...4WD-Double-Cab-LB-V6-AT/875/3TMMU4FN8DM052558

I sold almost a year ago a 2012 similar mileage with no topper, a blistein lift but it had been in an minor accident for 24k private party( it wasn't on the car fax but I was honest with the buyer) I'm thinking this one should be similar maybe a thousand more. I don't plan to drive it only on weekends as I commute by bus during the week. So eventually that mileage will level out with more typical mileage.

I've seen this for a week now and it's already discounted 1800.

That is somewhat high mileage for a 2013. Hopefully mostly highway miles

23k Max. Too high or miles and not even a TRD.

Don't pay extra for the lift an tires.

I'd be in on that one for 17k.

If I were selling my TRD Sport DCLB today I'd list at 27k.

Its an SR5 short bed so maybe 24-25k is fair

    You are correct. My bad.
    -----------------------
OP in my honest opinion, 2013 is the best year ever made. Its the only year with the compass and true temp in the rearview mirror (back up camera is also in the mirror).

It's an SR5, 4X4, Double Cab Long Bed (make sure it has the factory tow package).

The mileage is high but honestly, those are more than likely highway miles and it was a truck someone drove mostly for work. Highway miles are not something to be afraid of. I am more afraid of vehicles with below the average yearly mileage (under 12k miles). They usually are not maintained nearly as well. Plus they usually mean mostly short trips. This can lead to greater wear and tear on the car because of oil not getting to operating temp, high brake usage etc.

There is a difference between a 100k mile truck with 10K miles of city driving vs. a 50K mile truck where 45k miles are city driving. The latter will need new brakes and struts sooner.

Just my 2 cents but I think there is a greater chance of having maintenance problems with a low mileage truck than a high mileage one. So those miles don't scare me.

What I would do with it is have a trusted mechanic look over it. When I got it I would plan to do a full Trans flush at 100K. I would do front and rear diff oil change, and transfer case oil change. I would have the oil changes and send a sample in for testing at 100K. Obviously inspect all fluids well.

To me, it's a hot truck. Double Cab long bed with a cap!? Score!Tires look hot.

I'd probably fight for 24-25K range. It's not a TRD model. Plus after market parts do not change overall value of the vehicle.

I just paid a month ago in Sanford, FL for a mint condition 2013 Tacoma TRD Sport SB 42000 miles with leather seats and hard bed cover painted for $22,500! The white 2013 Tacoma, I may offer $21K but it has too many miles for that year and price. I will keep looking for a low mileage<60000 miles. Don't be fool by the dealers.IMAG0417.jpg

i believe given the milage, this is being heavily taxed by the dealership....

unless you really really have buying from a dealership as a requirement, I know you can get much more for 26k on the private market if you keep a close searching eye on the private used market

Is it certified pre-owned with warranty? That would account for some of the price premium.

Remember, negotiating isn't about what something is worth, it's about what you can leverage

In this case, high miles, frame rust potential due to being in Washington, no warranty risk, and it's not certified. I'd also go to town with the "limp mode" potential.

All in a days work.... take notes son!!!
