    I got mine last week. It came basically with dead battery. Couple hours charging and I was running around lighting stuff on fire like crazy :)
    edit: the button for the spark is kinda finicky. sometimes it lights, sometimes I have to try a couple times.

    I watched their pre-shipping video, they said federal regs don't let them ship with more than a 1/3 charge. Mine came Friday, I was already gone camping, but my wife was joining me later and was able to bring it. I started several camp fires with it.

    I don't know what they are charging for final production, but I think it is worth it.

    You have to press it 3 times to initiate the spark, then it will spark with every push for one minute.
