Oh yeah, it is something different every day! I get to help straighten out the many problems we run into as I am the construction manager's "right hand." We also don't have a timekeeper on nights, so I get to help out with all that stuff too.

It would be awesome to be an hour either way of a nice beach or the mountains. It's not a bad drive to the Gulf Coast in Mississippi or Alabama, but mountains are way out of any reasonable drive from my neck of the woods.

Nah... My bros coming in from CO, he's headed out to Iraq again. He wants to take his kids to Disneyland and other places before he heads out. We're going to Burro Canyon shooting park to let out some stress though.

So how did you end up doing this type of work? Did you go to school 4 it or learn from family?
Aslo not to familiar with the east much other than being in Pennsylvania for a week during a welding conference. You have a lot of swamps I take it. and a lot of Horizon:p

Check this site out. They have one hell of a buggy but the motor is a common Chevy one and the article says they are very common and easy to work on. Also a lot of parts for them.

Dirt wheels MAgazine did a full article on it and said it rips ass. Way better than a UTV with a lot of extras. They also showed it with sand paddles which was awesome.

Oh, we have swamps out the ass! And some beautiful sunsets over Lake Pontchatrain, or Lake Maurepas, depending on where your boat/camp is. Click on link for an example: http://www.pbase.com/sschex/image/74722705 South Louisiana is known as Sportsman's Paradise. Well, the whole state is, but the south is better than the north IMO.

I actually have a BS in Kinesiology. I was a teacher for 3 years and hated it. I lucked into this job just by knowing somebody in the quality control department here and him being able to get me on. My boss noticed my work ethic and computer skills, got attached, and now he's planning on keeping me on jobs with him as long as he's working. :D

My little sister is a teacher in LA,Ca and she hates it as well. She wants to move up to Oregon by my parents with her husband. He is starting his own brewery up there soon. So hopefully when he gets it going I can work with him buiding the brewery equipment and bottling. Should be fun.

Then he has to get a license to start his own business. He has about 6 months left then they are working at moving out of Los Angeles. I dont know much about brewing beer just drinking it. :D

He's probably studying chemical engineering.. I am pretty sure that's what people that brew beer study.

I'm packing up now. Paid until 6, but can clock out at 5:30. Later!
