I'm voting for a Sunday again only because there's supposed to be a Supra meet/dyno day on the 16th at Dynosaur's shop. It would be only the second meet in the last 12 months. I guess the Misfit Tacos could crash that meet if you need a place to go. Otherwise, the weather may be nice enough by then for another Tacos en el Lago.

BTW, I saw 4WP in Coppell posted that they have 2018 OHV stickers already available.

Good evening everyone, new to the thread!

I've been in DFW my entire life, FW mostly, and I picked up an 07 TRD OR a few years ago. Just spent the weekend installing some new parts and making some old parts look new as you can see in the pics. I'll create a build thread here soon, but for now I'll just show off to you locals because hey that's what we're here for :) If any of you guys would like to go wheelin, send me a message and I'd be happy to meet up! I'd love to test these new Bilstein 5100's out.

I have Total Chaos Spindle Gussets and then had them powder coated. I paid $75 for the gusset kit from Wheelers off-road and another $100 to have them welded and coated. I got a bit of a hookup as the guy that welded mine has lots of things coated and spindles are so he was able to get them thrown in with another orange batch.

Ok so those are the gussets. I often wonder how strong the stock spindles are. Seems like the tie-rods are the weak link, but I've never broken anything beyond a shock in the rear so it's hard for me to know.

I bent one but I'm kinda mean to my truck. That's why I went to the gussets, most people probably don't need them. I drove for a long time with it bent and all it did was wear tires a bit faster

Hard trail running, I noticed it after a trip to Hidden Falls so my money is on some of the questionable choices I made there but there isn't one that stands out.

    And for a good cause.

And if you aren't going hard, why go? Push your limits, I just push a little too hard.

I'll stick to learning my truck and learning to drive better. I'll watch and learn from you! Really I need to start pushing it a little harder so I can learn more once the skids are installed. I cant afford to have my truck in the shop due to me making a bad choice for now.
