9 Del. Prison Workers Suspended After Incident Involving Inmate

DOVER, Del. (AP/WBOC)- Department of Correction officials say nine workers at Delaware's maximum-security prison have been suspended after an incident involving an inmate being taken from his housing unit to the infirmary.

DOC spokeswoman Jayme Gravelle said Thursday that officials are conducting an investigation to determine whether a violation of department policies or procedures occurred as the inmate was being taken to the infirmary for a medical inspection. She provided no details about the incident, because this is a "personnel investigation."

The nine staff members assigned to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center were placed on administrative leave.

Gravell said the DOC "takes seriously any alleged incidents of misconduct and reported incidents are thoroughly investigated."

In February, a correctional officer at the prison was killed and three other staffers taken hostage during an inmate uprising.

What they are not telling you is :
This inmate smeared himself with feces and when being checked as he was on suicide watch threw a cup of urine and feces at the two officers and charged them . They got him down and cuffed and the escort team walked him across the compound at night naked because he had smeared feces on the anti suicide hospital style johnny and they did not want to contaminate another as we do not have that many. So they wrapped a sheet around him and walked him. Mind you it is 80 degrees at night in a male institution and only male officers were on the escort team. He is claiming it violated his constitutional rights as he was not afforded the chance to shower nor given clothes before being escorted on to the main compound. By the way no inmates are out anywhere after 1930hrs no one but the team and medical saw him.

So yeah I will pass on the toilet cam LOL

    YES!!!

Hope it serves you well. My older son has a top loader and I'm not impressed. Doesn't add enough water to cover the clothes and if you add extra water, the machine senses it and adds way too much water :annoyed: The front loader, I can wet the clothes and click the "extra water" button and there's enough to clean my clothes.

     watch battery died and I changed it, but now I can't get the band back on      (have to take the band off, to get the back off) One side wasn't too bad, but the other side is a pain in the rear end! :pout:

Can't think of any bacon questions except do you agree that when cooking you first cook a pound of bacon and go from there?!

Yeah Cook County Il. there is a place I will take guidance from, NOT! Although their hot dogs are rather good have to admit. Even if you have to get your ketchup in a separate container.

    chicago dog.jpg

Just kidding the ketchup was for the fries. Or maybe not...

A lot of nice cars there tonite !!!

A lot of people were really interested in my Camaro , even had quite a few walk up to me and ask me to start it up so they could here it . Some even asked me if I was ever on Street Outlaws

The funniest part of the night was when I was leaving the show . I started my Camaro up and was getting some heat into the motor when I couple guys walk to my d/door . They asked me if I could lite the tires up when I got onto the street

Even a couple miles from home i'm driving down Main street when I hear a crotch rocket throwing revs . i look over to my left and I see this bike rider matching my speed and thought that he wanted to roll race

He then gives me a big thumbs up and takes off
