not CL but Im selling this.

Going to a different rack set-up and looking to sell my rack, powdercoated satin black. Built by unique fabrication for me, has side mounts for rotopax (4) center load bars use interlocking bolted tube clamps so the 2 mid and rear bar are removable (made so I could load 2 dirtbikes without removing entire rack - or - any other tall / large item.

It's a strong, and built well and has plenty of clearance for items under rack.

Is there enough of a flat surface on there to attach 2x4's or something to raise it a bit for transporting long pieces of lumber?

The bars are right at roof level. So with small shims it should clear. I'll include the bar clamps that hold the solar panel on when swung around they sit about ¾" above load bars but if you did mount a 2x4 to the 8 tent mount tabs you'd be 2" off or 4".

There are 3 cross load bars. The 2 rearmost are the removable ones where the front cab side one is there to

Thank you, been eyeballing a rack for other duties also. Always liked your one-off setup. Will let you know when I make a decision.

So many different needs with racks. For me convertibility for the dirtbikes was imperative number 1.

I like it because if I bought say a washer and needed to get it home I don't need to remove rack just 8 Allen head screws and load bars are out. It's like 2 minutes

Where you can see the clamp height when swung around to the top and there are still the 8 welded or formed tabs the tent mounts to

The rearmost upper crossbar ( 2 are mentioned) looks welded on in the pics. How does it come apart? Pull the rack off the truck and then split?

The bar closest to the cab is welded as a stiffening part of the hoop. There are 2 cross bars mid and rear of bed. Those have joints like these on the ends with the other side on the caged sides.
You can see one of the joints here. If you zoom in you can see all 3 bars on the left side. You just unscrew 2 screws on each joint one on the upper keyed piece and one opposite under. Then the bars lift right out

I unfortunately get into lurking on forums more than I do posting nowadays, so I don't think I'll ever hit the 50 to post in for sale. Just wanted to give anyone local on TW a heads up on these before I have to deal with the special folks on Craigslist.
Got my old '96 manual and Hayes Tacoma 1st gen books for free to anyone local.
'05 headlights - some hazing, all tabs good. $20 each ($40 set)
'05 tail lights - great condition. $25 each ($50 set)

anyone want pictures, just shoot me a message. They'll hit offerup/craigslist over the weekend.
